What is the best age group for visiting SeaQuest Lynchburg?
ANY! The adults had as much fun as the kids did. Everyone visiting SeaQuest Lynchburg was engaged and laughing and learning so much about different animals.
What are the main attractions at SeaQuest Lynchburg?
You and your family will enjoy a safari adventure through 5 continents, where you’ll get to see and hand feed animals in each area. You’ll learn about Amazon rainforest, Mayan Jungle, Egyptian Desert and so much more. From snakes and tortoises to exotic birds and a variety of shark species, you’ll meet so many amazing and magnificent creatures and exotic marine life from around the globe.
Your family can walk through the aquarium and zoo stopping at each animal and reading information and asking questions of the staff about each exhibit. Wandering through the aquarium and zoo you can see animals ranging from birds to tropical fish to a giant sulcata tortoise, savannah cats and pigs! You’ll then get a “backstage” look here at SeaQuest! Become an official Animal Whisperer and help the staff prepare food for the daily animal feeding routine and learn how we provide animals with fun enrichment activities! You love to play and so do our animal friends – so your family will have a chance to teach them a new trick or two! You’ll even get a chance to face your fears – are you ready to pet a snake or hold a tarantula? On this epic quest, you’ll do just that! My son had SO much fun prepping the food and watching the animals enjoy it up close.

pend some quality time with your new wildlife pals by participating in a variety of different animal encounters. You can spend time in the parakeet aviary, visit with the tegus and lizards and dip your hands into the ray tank! Don’t worry, our little rays don’t bite, but they sure do love food treats!
How long should I plan on being at SeaQuest Lynchburg?
We spent 5 hours there and had to drag the kids out at the end! You could easily take a break for lunch and come back and make it an entire day activity. Your family could most definitely go through the SeaQuest experience in faster than that because its such a great place for self pacing depending on your family's time frame and preferences.
Is the SeaQuest Annual Pass / Membership worth it?
I would HIGHLY recommend the yearly membership if you live in or around Lynchburg or visit there multiple times a year. SeaQuest’s Annual Passport Membership offers guests unlimited visits for a year plus exclusive discounts on interactions, parties and more for 39.99 a year.

Yes, the SeaQuest experience is all on one floor and there is plenty of room to navigate with a stroller.

No, but you are inside of the River Ridge Mall, which has multiple family friendly restaurants. With your admission tickets to SeaQuest Lynchburg, you are able to leave and eat lunch and come back which is nice for families who want to grab lunch!
