Summer Jam Festival at Massanutten: Is it Worth it?

YES YES YES!  Massanutten Resort in the summer is my favorite time to visit.  Escaping the heat and heading to the beautiful and cool Shenendoah Mountains in July is so relaxing and having tickets to the Summer Jam Festival at Massanutten Resort was SO MUCH FUN.  We all agreed that making Summer Jam Festival part of our Fourth of July tradition was a must going forward.

What activities are available at the Summer Jam Festival Massanutten?

The main attraction to the Summer Jam Festival at Massanutten is obviously the music lineup.  The bands change year to year but we were blown away.  From classic rock to rock band, to the sound of country music there is something for everyone music wise at this festival. There is plenty of space to set up an area with friends on chairs and blankets and see the bands.  Music begins at 645pm.

Fireworks are a huge draw to the Summer Jam Festival as you can see the fireworks set off from the top of the ski slope which is the finale of the Summer Jam Festival at Massanutten.

Is the Massanutten Summer Jam Massanutten Festival kid friendly?

Yes, my children had SO much fun at the Summer Jam Festival and there were tons of families there.  The back area of the Summer Jam festival closest to the ski slopes is where the kid activities are located.  My children loved running around and dancing where our chairs were and up front by the stage as well.  The entire Summer Jam Festival at Massanutten is very family friendly.

We rented the 2-bedroom condo at Woodstone Meadows and for a portion of the stay there was another family in the other half of the Woodstone Meadows condo and it was still quiet, and we did not see them at all!
